online404-wiki.site is an unofficial fan reference for Online: 404, the open-world survival simulator developed and published by Cornfield Games. It is not affiliated with the developers, and it does not claim to be the official source. The three published articles cover the June 2026 demo first night, the workbench crafting confusion and the developer answer to it, and the smartphone survival uses listed on the official store page before launch.
Everything factual on this site comes from saved official sources: the Steam store page for the game, the official Steam news posts, and Steam Community threads from the June 2026 demo period. Player observations are labeled as player observations, and developer statements are labeled as such. Details the sources do not contain, such as exact recipe material counts, battery drain numbers or sleep durations, are not invented here. Because the demo ended in late June 2026, every demo-era claim is marked for rechecking after the Early Access release planned for October 16, 2026.

Five starting points in the reading order we recommend for new players: survive the first night, understand the phone, fix crafting, then browse the guide and item categories.
First Night Demo Checklist
Start here before your first dark night. Demo reports say nights are dark enough to get lost and the phone lamp helps very little. Sleeping in a bed or tent can starve you, so learn the pre-night checks.
Smartphone Uses and Risks
The phone is the main survival tool: map, flashlight, weather forecast and an in-game internet for recipes and survival tips. It also carries unreliable information, ads and CAPTCHAs, so read every result critically.
How to Craft: the Notes Menu Fix
Built a workbench and nothing happened? A developer reply from June 29, 2026 says crafting opens through the Notes app on the phone, with an indicator showing whether you are near a workbench.
All Guide Articles
The guide category holds the two walkthrough-style articles published so far: the first-night checklist and the crafting fix. Both are June 2026 demo evidence with Early Access recheck notes.
All Item Articles
The items category currently holds one published article: the smartphone survival guide. It matches each phone feature to a survival need and explains why the in-game internet is unreliable.
Frequently Asked Questions
When does Online: 404 release?
The Steam store page lists October 16, 2026 as the planned Early Access release date as of October 10, 2026. The date was postponed twice: first planned for July 2026, then moved to September 25, 2026, and announced as October 16, 2026 in the August 26, 2026 news post.
Is this site official?
No. online404-wiki.site is an unofficial fan wiki. It is not run by Cornfield Games, the developer and publisher of Online: 404. Official information comes from the Steam store page and the official Steam news posts, both reachable through the external links on this site.
Why is crafting confusing in the June 2026 demo?
A player built a workbench and could not use it to craft recipes. The developer replied on June 29, 2026 that crafting opens through the crafting menu in the Notes app on the smartphone, with an indicator showing whether you are near a workbench.
Can I sleep through the night safely?
Demo players reported that nights can be skipped by sleeping in a bed or tent, but that you might starve while doing that. The June 2026 thread does not give sleep durations or food numbers, so check hunger before sleeping and recheck the behavior after launch.
Is the in-game internet reliable?
No. The official store page says the phone has plenty of unreliable information, and an April 29, 2026 news post describes tempting ads, annoying CAPTCHAs and constant attempts to distract you. Treat search results as something to verify.
What is in the Early Access version?
The store page lists co-op, resource gathering, building, crafting, hunting, farming, electricity, vehicle driving, zombies and base raids in the Early Access version, along with the first third of the story.
Ready for the first night?
Pick one starting point and read it before you launch. The three articles are short and dated, and every demo claim is marked for a recheck after the Early Access release.
